Join our team as an Outreach and Engagement Specialist and play a pivotal role in promoting Dropchats, a groundbreaking app designed to redefine real-time communication and social interactions. We're looking for enthusiastic individuals who thrive in social settings and are passionate about technology and community engagement.

**Responsibilities:**

- Distribute promotional materials and engage with students and locals around NYU and Columbia University to introduce the Dropchats app.

- Conduct face-to-face interactions to explain app features, benefits, and encourage sign-ups and active participation.

- Organize and lead local events and demonstrations to showcase the app’s functionalities.

- Gather user feedback to enhance the app experience and resolve any issues.

- Work closely with our marketing team to tailor and implement effective promotional strategies.

- Uphold a professional, enthusiastic demeanor while representing Dropchats.

- Provide regular updates on outreach activities, user engagement, and feedback.

**Requirements:**

- Strong communication and people skills, with the ability to connect with diverse groups.

- High energy, outgoing personality, and a keen interest in technology and social platforms.

- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Flexible availability, willing to work during peak campus times and special events.

- Experience in marketing, promotions, or customer service is a plus.
